We have an exciting opportunity for all players currently aged 13 -16 years to participate in an Australian Institute of Sport Mental Fitness Program aimed at players in school years 7 - 10. This program aims to promote positive psychological strategies and improve wellbeing outcomes for young people. Parents are also welcome to attend.
This program will be run by an AIS ambassador, Danielle Spitty, a former Australian water polo player, member of the Premier League UTS Randwick Sparks Opens team and captain of our very own RR1 team in the RNA A1 division.
You can find details of the program and a link to Dani's bio in the links below.
Given the difficult time in 2020/2021 with COVID and the cancellation of junior sport and social activities for two years in a row, we believe this program will be very beneficial for all our players and would encourage you to make the most of this opportunity.
The first session will be held on Friday 10th December at 5pm at Heffron.
