PLAYING WITH FRIENDS REQUESTS - NETSETGO

As NetSetGo 8s and 9s are not competitive we can easily group players together. We are an inclusive club and do not like to turn players away so we may add players to your group in order to even out team numbers.

PLAYING WITH FRIENDS REQUESTS - JUNIORS

YES, you can request to play with friends but please note that netball is a graded, competitive sport from the age of 10 with multiple divisions in age groups and representative opportunities. Therefore we prefer to grade players based on ability, it works much better for everyone. Friends graded at a similar ability level are able to play together but any players ranked highly will be offered a place in a higher team than their friend and that player/parent allowed to accept/decline.

We have an equal court time policy at our club so friendship teams with a wide range of abilities are a real challenge to coach and provide a positive, confidence building experience to all players. Stronger players always enjoy the challenge of harder, faster competition and do not develop to their potential if graded lower to be kept with a friend. Less confident players do not always enjoy playing above their skill or experience level.

Requests will be considered by the grading committee but each player must make the request on their registration form - parents cannot make requests on behalf of others.

We encourage our players to accept their team and make new friends, and once the season starts children usually settle in and enjoy playing netball. The support of parents is greatly encouraged for this to occur smoothly.

LOGIN/PASSWORDS

Otherwise, you can check to see if you are in MyNetball already by entering your first name, last name, date of birth and clicking Find Me. Any problems or you need your password reset email your RRNC registrar please.
